TOA — Taste of Ayurveda (“TOA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Policy applies when you use our website, create an account, book a service, purchase products, make a payment, arrange delivery, contact customer care, subscribe to emails, or participate in TOA activities.

Independently operated payment, delivery, login, social-media, or other third-party services may also apply their own privacy policies.

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:

• Name, email address, telephone number, account identifiers, and language preferences.
• Recipient details, delivery address, selected 7-Eleven store, order information, payment status, returns, and customer-service records.
• Booking dates, services, package usage, and booking history.
• Information voluntarily provided for arranging a service, including allergies, pregnancy, medication, physical conditions, or other relevant considerations.
• Transaction references, payment method, payment results, and reconciliation information.
• IP address, browser, device, login activity, cookies, website usage, and error records.
• Customer correspondence, forms, feedback, and other information you choose to provide.

Full card information is processed by the payment provider. TOA does not ordinarily store complete card numbers or security codes.

We may use data to:

• Create and manage accounts.
• Arrange, confirm, reschedule, or cancel bookings.
• Process orders, payments, deliveries, returns, and after-sales service.
• Send account, payment, order, delivery, booking, and service notifications.
• Respond to customer requests and complaints.
• Manage packages, credits, and account benefits.
• Protect website security, prevent fraud, and resolve technical issues.
• Improve the website, products, services, and customer experience.
• Send marketing or event communications where appropriate consent or another lawful basis exists.
• Meet legal, tax, accounting, payment, and dispute-resolution obligations.

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain the customer relationship, and fulfil the purposes described in this Policy.

Order, payment, invoice, accounting, return, and dispute records may be retained for longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, or transaction-management purposes.

Data may be processed in Taiwan or other countries or regions where TOA or its service providers operate.

Data may be accessed by TOA, authorised personnel, and providers supporting hosting, databases, authentication, payments, delivery, email, analytics, security, or technical operations.

When data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise, or restrict unnecessary use as appropriate.

TOA currently uses, or may use:

• Vercel for hosting and deployment.
• Supabase for databases, authentication, and application functions.
• ECPay for payments and certain logistics services.
• Resend for transactional and service emails.
• Delivery and convenience-store partners.
• Google, Meta, or other analytics and advertising providers.

These providers may process or store information outside Taiwan. TOA selects providers appropriate to its operational needs and expects them to handle information in accordance with applicable law and contractual obligations.

The website may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember cart and language settings, protect security, analyse usage, improve functionality, and measure marketing performance.

Strictly necessary cookies support essential functions such as login, cart, checkout, and language preference. These may still be used for website functions you request, because the site cannot work correctly without them.

Analytics and marketing technologies are used only in line with your consent settings. These currently include Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4) for analytics, and Meta Pixel for measuring marketing and advertising performance. Where consent is required and not given, these tools are set to a restricted state and analytics/marketing cookies are not used for those purposes.

These providers may process personal data such as device or usage identifiers under their own privacy policies. You can reopen Cookie Settings at any time from the footer of the website to review or change your choice, including withdrawing consent you previously gave.

Account, payment, order, delivery, booking, and security messages are necessary service communications and are managed separately from general marketing.

You may unsubscribe from marketing through an email link or by contacting TOA. Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent necessary transactional messages.

TOA uses reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS, authentication, access controls, database permissions, third-party payment processing, system monitoring, and need-to-know access.

No internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Where a security incident may affect user rights, TOA will act in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on applicable law, you may request to:

• Access or review your data.
• Obtain a copy.
• Correct or supplement information.
• Stop or restrict certain collection, processing, or use.
• Delete personal data.
• Withdraw marketing consent.

To request deletion of your TOA account, email us at hello@tasteofayurveda.co from the address registered to your account. Submitting a request does not delete data immediately: TOA reviews each request and confirms that no order, appointment or package is still open before processing it. You may withdraw a request at any time before it is processed.

We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.

Certain records may need to be retained for legal, payment, accounting, transaction, dispute-resolution, or fraud-prevention purposes. Where immediate full deletion is not possible, TOA may restrict unnecessary use, anonymise data where appropriate, or limit access.

TOA services are not primarily directed to children. A minor should create an account, book, or purchase only with the consent or assistance of a parent or legal guardian.

The website may contain links to independently operated websites, social platforms, or services. Their data practices are governed by their own policies.

TOA may update this Policy to reflect changes in services, technology, or law. The updated version will be posted with a revised date. Where a change may materially affect user rights, TOA will provide reasonable additional notice.
